We couldn’t be more thankful as the acquisition of fire department vehicles is often difficult and expensive. We are excited to add the newest vehicle to our growing fleet as a wildland/ rescue service vehicle.

As always, the Fredonia Fire Department is dedicated to helping keep our own and surrounding communities safe. We are excited about expanding our capabilities with our newest piece of equipment.

In 2024, we responded to more than 60 calls, 25 of which were car accidents, and 14 wildland fires. The rest covered everything from removing trees from the highway to house fires.

We thank everyone in Fredonia and Kanab for your ongoing support. We also thank the Kanab Fire Department, Fredonia Police Department, Coconino County Sheriff’s Office, ADOT, Arizona Department of Public Safety and all of the Fredonia Fire Department volunteers for working with us side by side through the worst times and the best times. Again, we would like to thank Brandon Davis, Joseph Mizer and all others responsible for getting this truck to us.

Buckle up and drive safely!
