On Friday March 31, traffic stopped briefly on Kanab’s Center Street as a procession of motorcycles, law enforcement vehicles and personal attendees escorted the vehicle bearing the late Doug Crosby to the Kanab Cemetery.

These various groups who, as put Jeff Mosdell as he conducted the service, “counted themselves lucky to have Doug among them, and each one of them knew he was a special guy,” brought the hearse from the Kanab Center, down the regular parade route, then turned toward the cemetery to lay Crosby’s casket to rest.
For details on Crosby’s life, including his service in the military and in law enforcement, as well as his personal passions that allowed the connections that led to this procession, read his obituary in the March 30 edition of the Southern Utah News, or on Mosdell Mortuary’s website.
