Ground broken at Ventana Resort luxury subdivision site

Ventana Resort, the luxury subdivision in the vicinity of the Kane County Kaneplex Ro- deo Grounds and the Water Conservancy District offices, has broken ground and begun moving earth in preparation for first construction.

The plot of land on which Ventana is being built has been a point of contention in recent years, as are many of the State Institutional and Trust Lands Administration (SITLA) plots; the location where Ventana is being constructed was previously considered by the Kane County Water Conservancy District for a golf course.

According to Ventana’s webpage, “Construction of the resort is set to begin in mid- 2024, with the first luxury townhomes ready for move-in by mid-2025. We also expect the amenities and the resort hotel to be completed within 24 months after work starts on the townhomes.” These townhomes are expected to start around $650,000, and each townhouse residence will be open to the property’s rental program allowing conversion between long term residence and short-term rental at will. Residences will be pet friendly for up to two pets weighing no more than 30 lbs.

More information can be found on Ventana Resort’s website, ventanaresortresidences.com.
