Kane County Center for the Arts presents The Forgotten Carols Musical this Holiday Season

Kane County Center for the Arts (KCCA) is pleased to announce a new component to community Fine Arts integration and enrichment via its Theatre Arts programing. In collaboration with several members of the adult community theatre group, Kane County Center for the Arts is producing The Forgotten Carols (Michael McLean, Adapted by Scott McLean) as its inaugural theatrical production, just in time for the opening of the holiday season.

You might have already fallen in love with this musical tale of a nurse whose empty life is changed when Uncle John, a new patient she is attending, recounts the story of Christ’s birth as told by little known characters in the nativity story. The accounts from the Innkeeper, the Shepherd, and others, help the nurse discover what the world has forgotten about Christmas, ultimately encouraging her to open her heart to the joy of this special season.

Kane County Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the directors for this community musical production: Mariah Wheeler and Amy Burggraaf.

Featuring a cast of local adult community theatre artists, this musical is sure to help set a warm tone to the opening of the Holiday season.

Bring your family, friends, or come alone and experience the music, the story, and the magic of live theatre this November 7, 8, 9 at the Auditorium. Curtain opens at 7p.m. Advance Ticket Purchase at kanecountyarts.org and use code KANABLOCAL for a special discount.
