According to a report from the Kane County Sheriff’s Office, the US Marshal made contact and requested assistance locating an Illinois individual with a warrant out for his arrest. The suspect had been known to work in areas like East Zion in Kane County, and had contacts, addresses and local license plates associated with his name in Kanab.
After contacting known associates in the area, including pulling over an associated vehicle eastbound out of Kanab, the KCSO and Marshall’s Office pinpointed the individual’s location on a construction site on Cedar Mountain. The individual was arrested without incident, and was booked into Kane County Jail on December 2, where he awaits extradition back to the jurisdiction where the warrant was filed.
