This week the Valley Buffalos had two games scheduled, but due to rain, had to postpone their Wednesday game vs. The Bryce Valley Mustangs.
On Friday, the defending champ Piute Thunderbirds came to town and the Buffalos gave them a great battle, but ultimately came up short, losing 7-3.
Ultimately Piute was able to capitalize on a couple of Buffalo errors and put up four runs in the third inning. After trailing 5-1, the Buffalos cut into the lead with a couple of RBI’s by Payson Harris and Boede Cox and trimmed it to 5-3. However, the Thunderbirds tacked two more runs on in the sixth inning to push the lead to 7-3, which is how the game would end.
